A special screening of the Indonesian film “Maybe Tomorrow or Another Day”, which tells the story of Indonesian students living in Türkiye, was held by the Embassy of Indonesia.
The screening, which took place at Cepa Shopping Mall cinemas, drew significant interest from moviegoers. Hosted as part of the 2025 MIKTA Film Festival, the event was organized under the patronage of the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Türkiye, Achmad Rizal Purnama.
Ambassador Purnama emphasized that the film symbolizes the deepening ties between the two countries and said, “Our students are here not only to pursue their education, but also to build friendships with the Turkish people, engage with local cultures, and represent Indonesia as cultural ambassadors. Film is a universal language that transcends borders. It fosters empathy and builds strong bridges of understanding between nations. Through culture, we aim to build a better world — one that is founded on mutual respect.”

“Maybe Tomorrow or Another Day” presents an original story that spans both Indonesia and Türkiye. Highlighting the cultural and emotional ties between the peoples of the two nations, the film focuses on the everyday lives of Indonesian students in Türkiye. More than 5,000 Indonesian students are currently pursuing their education in various cities across the country.
