Forty models walked the runway wearing forty unique designs by Sofia Borisova. During the show, Bulgarian opera singer Mariya Slavova performed arias on stage.
I BELIEVE CULTURE OPENS DOORS

Speaking at the event, Ambassador Tcholakov said they were closing the cultural season with this fashion show. He stated:
“We are ending our cultural season with a fashion show by Sofia Borisova, one of the world’s most renowned fashion designers. I truly believe in cultural diplomacy. Culture is a powerful medium—it opens doors, builds bridges, and brings people together. Fashion, within this realm, is a modern, strong, and impactful way to deliver a message. Bulgaria is a very active country in the field of cultural diplomacy. Our relations are rich in emotion, connection, tradition, and constant waves of innovation, and tonight’s fashion show is one example of that.”
A MESSAGE TO DAZZLING WOMEN

Designer Sofia Borisova explained that the name of her collection shown in Ankara is Provocateur. She shared the following:
“This collection is a message to women who want to look dazzling. I used high-quality fabrics because this is haute couture, high fashion, and I selected the finest designer lace, along with fabrics from Italy and France. These are the same fabrics used by the world’s top designers. I’m happy to have had the opportunity to showcase my creativity and inspiration here.”
WOMEN AS THE SOURCE OF INSPIRATION
“My main source of inspiration is women,” she continued. “I believe women should be feminine and sexy. Of course, I also wanted to reflect their essence. Every dress I designed tells the story of the woman who will wear it. I also draw inspiration from fabrics and nature. I enjoy playing with different styles and materials. I love experimenting with colors because painting is a powerful form of expression for me.”
