SOUL THERAPY WITH TURKISH TV DRAMAS

Kazakh cellist Bagjan Oktabr performed in Ankara as part of his “Soul Therapy” program. Backed by a chamber orchestra, he played themes from Turkish TV dramas. Celebrated singer Gökhan Kırdar, composer of many series soundtracks, joined him for two songs.

Oktabr performed at Oran Açık Hava Sahnesi (Oran Open-Air Stage). His set blended Turkish TV and film themes with selected classics and contemporary pieces. He played music from “Ezel,” “Aşk-ı Memnu,” “Kara Sevda,” and “Ölümsüz Aşk,” giving the audience a night full of music.

After a long hiatus, Gökhan Kırdar appeared as a guest vocalist. He and Oktabr performed “Yerine Sevemem” and “Yağmur” together. Oktabr closed the nearly two-hour concert with the “Game of Thrones” theme.
