The 8th International Solo Contemporary Dance Festival will take place in Ankara on August 30–31, 2025. Hosted on CerModern’s open-air stage, the festival will present solo performances in contemporary and conceptual dance.

This year’s event will bring together 20 dance artists from 13 different countries. In addition to solo performances, the two-day festival will also feature workshops and artist meetups. Dancers from countries including Georgia, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Spain, France, and Argentina will perform on stage.
A FORM OF PERSONAL EXPRESSION
The festival program is curated by Deniz Alp, Özgür Adam, and Galip Emre—artists known for their work in contemporary dance. The Solo Contemporary Dance Festival focuses on performances that treat dance as a form of individual expression. Through this event, CerModern aims to connect audiences with a variety of artistic disciplines.
